Hi guys.
So I've always been fascinated with people who can play music. So is my wife, our 10 year old daughter, my 7 year old son, and our daughther loves listening to electronic/synthesizer- and dance music.
So we got a calibrated 75" TV with 2 x JBL L8000 speakers connected via new Sony amp, which means music via our Apple TV 4K on Youtube sounds awesome. Yesterday the whole family watched some clips from "Koji Kobura" - for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_C0rAKiBEA
Now no doubt this guys is a pro and loves making music, so it got me thinking (again!) which (digital?) options are out there for kids who wants to start creating some (electronic) music, without taking piano classes for several years - or maybe that's almost required? If my daughter at some point ends up using something like the AKAI MPK mini, I guess she's come pretty far in terms of complexity.
In these times, I imagine some clever person has created some device, which at least can make kids start "creating" some music that sounds decent - like adding beats, bass, drums and rhytms so you in the end, at least can get some good experience with something that sounds decent. I'm hoping of something that doesn't have too steep of a learning curve so they don't lose their motivation?
English isn't our main language, but she's pretty good with watching YouTube tutorials, if there's some electronic equipment out there that also has a great community to help beginners.
We got iPads and Win10 computers in the house and daddy (me) is a tech-nerd privately and work as an IT- & Electronics Engineer, so I'm open to different options.
Thanks!
