Last year, I had this great idea for a project-based music theory curriculum. The problem is, that I haven't been a full-time High School Music Theory teacher for just about three years, and I didn't have any real outlet for that idea.
Rather than let it sit on the shelf, though, I started a reddit community at /r/jbtMusicTheory. If you're interested in learning music theory, and have the ability to compose original music either with a DAW or on notation software like MuseScore, or on an instrument, I'd love to have you join!
Every month I'm posting a new lesson, and I just posted November's lesson a minute ago. Go check it out! If you participate, I'll give you feedback, and am more than happy to answer any theory questions you might have.
