Hey, I’ve been picking up music again after several years. I used to be able to read sheet music pretty quickly as a kid, but it’s gotten to be very sluggish. I basically only remember treble clef, and that is largely just because of Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge and FACE. I know the basics already, and most of the symbols, but I am hoping to improve my speed. I know just continued practice with it will work, but I’m wary of just memorizing pieces instead of actually just reading the notes quickly. Can anyone recommend any resources that can improve my reading of notes? But more than that, just like a refresher on a the beginning of music. I remember time signatures and note lengths, but it would be nice to see it all come together cohesively. Most of what I’ve found though is from the true beginning, and that becomes cumbersome to get through. I had played the piano for several years growing up, so I wasn’t quite a beginner, but neither am I intermediate currently.
Any recommendations/advice would be appreciated!
