If producing on a macbook pro using studio headphones, will the quality be noticeably different if the audio is routed through a say Scarlett 2i2 compared to using the built in DAC on the macbook?
Or is the macbook audio good enough? Already have a home studio and do not plan on hooking the macbook up to monitors or any input device. I've also had no issues with latency.
