Probably an odd question but there is a reason behind it. I just moved currently and my studio is much larger. Before, I was using 4" Tannoy Reveals (love those speakers btw)... but I definitely need something larger for my new space. Now, I understand the Mackie's are overkill in terms of size... but just strictly in terms of using them as mixing monitors if queued into the correct db/gain setting for the space would the be alright or are there frequency response not good enough? Just thought I'd ask, I don't want to use these if they aren't going to perform well for my mixing.
