I like to download remix stems from contests, and then remix the song (I never submit my remix, just practicing and stuff). The remix stems take up much of the memory in my project. And when I add some other samples, the memory are suddenly full.
Additionally, I usually want to add some chords and i like to use Serum or Massive for that. But after only 4 instances of massive, my cpu can't take it anymore and the crackles start. Out of memory and high cpu makes it impossible to produce.
I always remember to bring the voices and osc settings down in serum and massive. I know I can bounce my chords to audio, but I don't like to do that as I always want to change something later. I also delete unused samples and plugins. Do you have any tips? PS: I'm using FL Studio.
