first off, I know this isn't really original, but I couldn't care less about originality at this point.
What I'm asking is this: how do you get those pitched down a$ap rocky- like vocals? For reference, treat yourself with skrillex's feature with a$ap, "wild for the night"

Yeah, thanks. I tried that and ended up with a muddy, shit sounding mumbling.
The question for me is this: is it the vocals I work with? Are they just not suitable for this and should I look harder for more usable samples?
Or is there any production tip I might have missed? I'm not at home right now, but I will post an example of my audiotechnical wrongdoings as soon as I get home.
But if you have any idea what I might try until then, don't hesitate to post 'em, I will be eternally grateful, glorious internet hivemind.
