I understand there have been many posts like these but I have been a little overwhelmed searching through this forum and still have little or no idea where to start.
I have Ableton Live Trial installed, and got a Linda.com subscription for how to use it. I covered half of the guide (5-6 hours), however, it was too technical and I didn't understand it well.
Also tried some youtube videos with regards to music theory and EDM that were mentioned here, but I continue to feel like I'm missing something. I am a complete novice and have not played any instruments before.
I would be immensely grateful if anyone could provide a pathway to get started with EDM production. Should I learn how to play the keyboard/piano a little first, how much music theory should I know, how can I learn more about instrumentation (before the linda video I didn't know what a snare was).
