I make OG dubstep and industrial hardcore as a hobby but I'm looking at upping my game. I can't afford Serum but found out about the pay-to-rent system yesterday so I'm very much looking at jumping in. I have a few questions though.

I use almost exclusively Massive for bass and melodies, is there something in Serum that is different to Massive? Or could everything be achieved in both synths?

Are there any differences in license/upgrades/using preset packs in buying Serum outright vs. paying by month?
