I'm tired of my piano vsts sounding like the listener's ear is inside or at one centimeter from the piano. How can I make it so that it sounds like the listener is at a longer distance?

Thanks for reading. This is what I've been doing up until now and how I want it to sound like: In the video where the guy plays the piano, It sounds good, and it's evident that the microphones are placed at a distance, but with any piano sample I take, it sounds like if the listener was resting their ear directly on the piano hammers, very annoying. Mixing and EQing only results in the very same result, only with less volume... Can somebody help me with this? Thanks for reading.
