I have zero musical backgroud.. never played an instrument growing up. Tried to teach myself piano but struggled with time and schedule. I feel that i have a good ear for music and what artists are trying to do in songs (mostly EDM). I have been mixing for about a year now and feel as if i have that down pretty well.
But now my real question is just asking for any advice on where to start trying to make my own music. I constantly play stuff in my head that I wish I could record somehow. By the time I lose train of thought its gone forever lol. Any advice would be awesome. Or any suggestions on how to do this with a very basic technique!
