So lately I started having a problem with making good ride/crash sequence at the drop of the track. I'm trying many other samples but none seems to match pretty well, and if it does it still missing good "momentum". What I'm talking about:

I'm pretty sure it's mostly about finding the right sample but there's definitely some processing behind it aswell. EQ? Compression? Sidechain?
Can you guys share your tip/tricks on how to mix those elements?
