So, I've noticed while creating some synth patches that if you have a fader that decreases the volume of one sound while increasing the volume of the other sound it will get quieter at the middle values if you use a linear curve.
It won't fade perfetly and keep the total volume. so you need some kind of tension in the fade curve (not a linear one).
- So, why is that, like in theory?
- What would the optimal curve look like, I'm thinking you could somehow calculate it?
