Basically, it's the same idea as Golden Ear or TrainYourEars software, but made into an Ableton preset. Check it out for more info, I won't go into it here. Samples used are free, one from GDC sample pack, that indicates start of a frequency 12dB boost, and the second is white noise from audiocheck.
How to use:
- Get a pen and paper ready.
- Go to session view
- Solo out a track that contains training for frequencies you want to train:
- 31Hz to 500Hz
- 250Hz to 4kHz
- 1kHz to 16kHz
- Get to know how each frequency, contained in a clip, sounds like. Associations are helpful, write them.
- Click record and start playback if it hasn't done so, don't look at the monitor.
- Do eg. 10 examples, they're randomly choosen. Write down answers for each.
- Now stop playback, hit TAB to look into arrangement view to see up answers. Each frequency is named, so you should be able to decode answers easily.

It contains nothing but the project with wave files, I can put it on another hosting service that supports virus checking if you're wary.
Cheers, I hope it helps
