So, way back about a year and a half ago I backed the Artiphon Instrument 1 on Kickstarter. It was supposed to ship back in January, it showed up in the mail yesterday. Better late than never right?
Anyway, I messed around a little in guitar mode last night. It feels a lot different than a guitar, more so than I expected, but still was very playable. I was surprised that it made some of the freeware VST guitar synths I had actually sound more realistic by playing them in a more guitar-like way instead of with a keyboard or just a piano roll.
I'm looking forward to messing with the violin and drum input modes soon to see how those work.
Has anybody else had a chance to mess around with one yet?
