I have a tendency to drop a high pass filter sweep right before the drop and also remove any sounds right before the drop. I'd love to learn more about building synth risers (not just white noise) since I've had a few loops that have had cool synth risers but would love to make my own. What kinda stuff do you automate for a drop? What risers or builds do you use? For trap producers, do you generally use your own snare roll build up or a loop?
