It's pretty much looked down upon to just drop a loop in your track and call it done.
For me, if it's a drum loop, I'll cut it up and make a new pattern with it. For bass or melody, cut it up, reverse it, pitch shift, resampling, and time stretching are my go to methods.
So I'm wondering how you guys go about using them?
