I heard that sax is an Eb instrument so in order to play along with most tracks I learn I have to transpose those? As an example I'm learning to play fly me to the moon which starts like: C^BAGF..
I've got the original mp3. How can I continue playing those notes and use the karaoke version of my mp3 as a backing track? I found that the original is in C major.
So do I open audacity and change pitch from C => Eb or from Eb => C? Will that be enough?
How can I know a) the original key of the instrument and b) which key I'm playing on? For the second part does counting the sharps and flats usually do the thing? I can do that
