Note: I had to repost it because the last one might have been lost to obscurity due to my time zone.
Hello everyone. I've been wanting to pick up an instrument, and I've been gravitating towards reed flutes. But before I buy one, I have a few questions:
Apparently there are "single/double/triple/etc.." reed flutes. Could anyone ELI5 the differences between them? Also, what's the most beginner-friendly?
Is there a downside to getting a cheap one? Does the quality of the instrument matter too much in terms of performance?
If it helps, the music that REALLY got me into reed flutes/flutes in general is this:

Listen at the 0:20 mark. Can anyone tell me which kind of flute that is?
Thank you!
