I was recently inspired to learn to play the guitar but I have already broken two strings while attempting to tune my guitar to a drop D for the song “We’ll Never Have Sex” by Leith Ross. I’m sure I maybe shouldn’t be jumping into any songs specifically but I feel most inclined to this song and I feel like I’d lose motivation to do something else. Any tips please?
When I change out the two strings should I just change all of them?
Also the guitar was purchased around 7 years ago and the strings haven’t been changed so that definitely might be an issue.
