Hey all & thanks in advance! So, i’m an autodidact. I love teaching myself new skills and they can come at random. It comes without a schedule or dedicated practice time & it’s great until i need what I’m learning to stick. I pic up the instruments and blank. Which, I’m realizing as I’m writing this, is probably my biggest downfall. I taught myself how to play acoustic guitar using tabs but the guitar wasn’t really my thing. In school I was taught flute and trumpet and played both for years, if that gives any context. This blurb was to ask if my issue is simply sticking to one instrument & learning it before i move on or am i just not practicing the instruments enough or am i supposed to stick to a certain family?
Also: If anyone is in nyc and happens to teach id love to know what you teach & if you’re available for lessons?
