I have played out several times in galleries/studios etc where I brought my own portable speaker and just ran a 1/8" to 1/8" line from my headphone jack/audio out of my laptop
but now I have a "real" gig coming up where I assume I will now be interfacing with a mixer? I have a Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 that I can bring, but my question is what cables do I need to connect to the PA/sound system setup?
the 2i2 has 2 1/4" outputs - will that work? or maybe I'll need a 1/8" to stereo RCA plug instead? or something else? I just want to be prepared for all possible scenarios
