Does anyone know what the best way is to tune audio or midi in Ableton Live? If you know a good third party plug-in, that's also fine.
Right now I'm using the default 'Tuning' plug-in from Ableton Live 9 Suite. However, this tuner isn't as precise as I would like it to be. After using it for a while it would just stop working or doesn't show the pitch (note) precise. Does Ableton Live 10 Suite (update) have a better Tuning plug-in?
I tune samples (audio files) and presets (midi-output) because of a few reasons: - For the music that I produce I don't use the regular A=440 Hz. Instead I use A=432 Hz. - I tune drum samples like kicks, to make them fit more into the song. - I sometimes make or find a preset (on Xfer Serum for instance) that changes from pitch when playing/triggering the midi input.
If you know more about tuning, please let me know. Btw, am I the only one who tune's every sound in his DAW? I can't find that many information and videos about it on the internet, lol.
