I am a lover of electronic music, but I've never fully absorbed the nitty-gritty details of what defines each of the genres. This list is pretty intimidating and even when I read the descriptions, I still don't think I could necessarily pick out the genre by ear.
My goal is to know what exactly other people are referring to when they mention a specific genre. Is there any place that kind of defines them in music theory terms?
