Hi, im new here, but I've been using FL studio for around 9 years now. My laptop barely runs the program, and I try to make little edm songs here and there, mainly remxies of other tracks.
I have SPIRE and SYNLETH as well as NEXUS, and I'm trying to get a lead sound similar to Conro, like his song Close. After doing a little research I feel this is an LFO type of effect.
I'm just having trouble recreating that type of sound. I feel like I have a lot of potential but I get so frustrated. I.know it takes time and trial and error. But it's different when you sit down to make a blanket, and you have all the tools you need, the yarn, the needles, thimble, etc. But you don't know where to start to make your blanket look like this SPECIFIC blanket that you love so much. I'm just tired of making what I feel are shitty blankets I guess.
The sound like fades in and out at a very quick pace. Almost like a side chain, but more. It also varies by the length of the note. At least, that's what I feel in hearing.
If someone could maybe point me in the right direction or share some advice with their trouble creating future bass, I'd appreciate it very much. I have a passion for this yet I feel so limited.
