Hey, I'm fairly new to EDM production, but I recently made a track (https://soundcloud.com/mohit-puvvala/party-cities) and I'm trying to promote it. I read online that some good ways to gain listeners is to create download gates so I did that. Also, I hear partnerships are good, but I guess I'm just too intimidated to approach actual EDM producers about sharing music. Maybe it's just me, but it just doesn't feel organic.
That leaves me with forum posting. Do you know any forums I can post a song on? They could be subreddits, but I'd also love to hear about other online forums. I think just sharing and listening as a community helps everyone get better so I think that's the route I want to take. Thanks so much!
