Hey everyone, I currently use FL Studio 12, and use its built in Fruity Reverb 2 for my reverb, I sent in a track to a DJ I liked for some feedback and he said that there is too much low end in the drop leads, which are conflicting with the kick, making the drop sound "muddy"
I of course had a low cut on all the leads before this so I assume its down to the reverb. However, Im unsure as to how much of a low cut I should apply, a full low cut (the low cut knob all the way to the right) left my leads feeling empty, so Im wondering am I supposed to do a full low cut, or only a partial one?
Might be a noob question so Im sorry haha, just unsure.
Thanks guys :)
PS, would like to point out I also do not have my reverb on a seperate channel, this was something I learned after making alot of this track so I havent done it in my current project. So each lead has its own mixer track with a fruity reverb 2 on it (obviously disabled the reverb applied in the synthesizer)
