I keep hearing that 0 dB is the safe limit. Anything beyond that results in clipping or distortion. However in everyday life we are probably exposed to volume levels greater than 0 dB, and don't experience any distortion. So how is the digital context different from the analogue one and how are they connected, I'm really confused.
