I find that while I'm easily able to make intros, breakdowns, and verses that I like for these types of genres, I always struggle with making the huge melodic drops. How do they achieve this sound with super huge chords that just feel natural? Is there some kind of music theory thing they're all using? Is it actually in the bassline? Is it mixing? I've just been struggling forever to figure out what makes this style of drop work. Any ideas?
