I know that soundcloud degrades the quality of songs to 128 kbps. It seems like it doesn't affect trap or hard bass music much. However, for future bass and other melodic music with big cords, it sounds so overcompressed and quiet in the mids. However I've also come across future bass songs that sound loud in soundcloud. I've referenced the same songs on my desktop and they sound fine. It's just that soundcloud makes some songs sound like absolute shit. How do you guys get around this issue? I've tried dithering and it didn't do much.
