What's the threshold for surviving off your music? I know it varies from person to person, but where does it start?
I see people in interviews that have like ~3k followers on Soundcloud and talk about living off their music for the last 10 years, like... what? How?
Do any of you guys know XYZ dude/chick that has 30k followers on Soundcloud and is able to survive doing tours? How's he making it work and what kind of living does that look like? Barely eating or buying new gear and paying rent?
