Hi, I just found the Traktor Kontrol F1 ( https://www.native-instruments.com/products/traktor/dj-controllers/traktor-kontrol-f1/ ) and thaught “hey, what about using a bunch of them + a launchpad (or something similar like push) as a controller for Ableton/Bitwig? Bitwig has the nice open API, yes. But that doesn't work always, I think Midi as a protocol is still needed. But does the traktor stuff use midi?
This post/question is not limited to the F1, theres so much traktor stuff out there (dreaming of a modular daw/synth controller...;)
So to sum it up, is it possible to use traktor hardware for music production? O.o
