Someone I came in contact with has a Focal SM9 pair he's willing to give up for $4000. Talked him down from $5000.
They cost almost $11,000CAD brand new right now.
He bought them 2 years ago and has the receipt. Warranty is freshly expired.
I will be going in person probably within the next few days to hear them.
What do I do to make sure they're not fucked?
Things to listen for? Things to visually inspect?
More importantly, is this completely insane? Or destiny?
