theres this genre of trap or dubstep or like whatever the fuck
and this shit is raw as fuuuuuuuuckkkk
i'm sure most of ya'll have heard of it
this that mf hybrid trap type shit my guy and I been steady wondering for a minute:::::
how tf do i make some shit like this
I'm not a retard when it comes to production, I was super into the neurohop movement around like 2014 and I have a decent comprehension of sound design, but like some aspect of this whole hybrid trap shit completely escapes my comprehension

the crucial drop elements I've picked up so far on are:
around 150bpm
swagged out vocal in the bar before the drop
kick on beat one
a growly ass fm bass of some sort on beat one
some fucked up weird high pitched synth (generally pitchbent) starting on beat 3 along w/ the snare, generally continues through the next bar, and then on beat one the sequence repeats

i'm in key, like the shit that normally makes a track sound bad isn't present but my shit still is awful
idk basically does anyone have any arrangement or synthesis or rly any tips for hybrid trap
