What's up everybody! I've been producing EDM for the past 4 years, and LOVE the genre. For the last couple of months, I've slowly been getting less joy out of producing, which has been bumming out a lot. I feel that it can be such a difficult genre to create, which can lead to alot of frustration. This has gotten me to points where I want to sell all of my production gear and give up. If you haven't been feeling inspired to make music lately, do what I have been doing recently so that you can rejuvenate your love for EDM: Take a break and start a classical music project. I've been just playing the notes that feel right, and it feels so fucking nice! It's a totally different beast to handle and I feel that after producing classical you can go back to EDM to get into your "Beginners Mind" that doesn't weigh you down with all the technicalities that come with EDM Production.
Cheers fuckers, happy music making.
