I'm finding that to real fine tune the sound its helpful to have a few extra track lanes just dedicated to mastering. Is this a common thing or do people just do it all in the same project?
I also find if I start adding mastering vsts early in the main project I tend to use it to shape it early on which squashes the potential range of the tracks themselves if that makes sense.
