I know that using a DAW, headphones, and a computer are the essentials. But besides those, what are some MIDIs or other hardware you'd suggest? I have some background with piano and guitar, and I remember a bit of theory. I like being more hands on as opposed to dragging notes on a computer honestly.
As far as style, I'm really into music similar to Sweater Beats and Giraffage. And with DAW, I've played around in FL Studio, but I'm not big into it and will try Abelton or any other DAWs. I plan on getting better speakers, and eventually better headphones too. My budget is around $500-$800. Any other advice is much appreciated. Thanks!
