when you want your reverb space to be cohesive and all gel well together across different pieces of your track, are there key parameters in your typical reverb that will take it "out" or put it "in" the space moreso than other parameters?
an example is, i have a long dark reverb as one of the main return tracks on my song. i want to use a similar verb on vocal bits but sometimes it's too much, so i'll put it on as an insert/audio effect rack and reduce the decay. of course, ultimately 'use your ears', but wanted to check the broknowledge on this.
parameter examples that probably are the ones: * decay * predelay * roomsize * (diffusion?)
thanks!
