I'm looking for advice on networking, branding, and marketing my music. I have my first EP I have been working on for few months, and I want to release it in January. I don't have a hard time finding tips for furthering my production skill, but most of the advice I have found on marketing and networking doesn't seem to work for me. I know it all starts with having decent music, but I am lost as how to send my originals to promoters (mainly soundcloud pages, such as Drop It Network, Electrostep). I am hesitant anyone will even look at my music since I do not have any sort of large following, just a few thousand plays on my older songs. Any advice, or what has worked for you, would be much appreciated :)
EDIT: Just to be clear, I am not trying to sell my music or "get signed." I know I have a long way to go for that. Only seeking to release through a promoter
