Hi all, when learning the songs we need to start with a good foundation, and build up from there. I am wondering if I should sloppily learn all the notes of the piece first, THEN work with a metronome to get it in time, or is that false? Instead, should I just begin from the get-go using a metronome and playing everything in time and tight as possible? IF SO, should that be at full speed, half speed, quarter speed? I'm a beginner. Thank you so much!!
