is it hard for anybody else at the start of a new song to come up with something? like when i start a new track i used to try and start with some sound design but i found out i work alot easier if i take a synth or sample thats already made (either by me or someone else) and start my song with that and then build off of it. like my ideas flow alot easier when i start with a dope preset and then work off of that. but if i dont have a dope preset on hand to start off my track i feel like my brain just goes blank and doesnt know how to start a track off. anybody else like this? anybody have some good tips for me when starting new tracks?
