Hey. Looking for some back and forth producer talk here. What genres are you working on? Whats you top 3 favourite sample packs? Top 3 plugins and synths and top 3 producer tips? Im currently working mostly on pop music /edm and chill /ambient. Top sample packs are: Echo sound works future bass drums. That sound organic samples and leviathan 1-2. Plugins: echoboy, Little alterboy, valhalla shimmer, trash 2, camelcrusher, ott, slate digital pack and izotope ozone. Thats more than 3 but its impossible. Synth favourites are serum, output stuff maschine 2 and suger bytes egoist. production tips: nothing top settet here probably but ill just mention some i can think off. Bouncing elements and sections of a song and dragging into serum noise osc can be great for making transitions if you modulate reverbs, filters after what kind of transition you want. Load up some synths, organic synths and layer a note with different sounds and add fx, long reverb or short, distortion and whatever. Then stretch it out or not and drag it into a sampler or serum noise osc to make vibey armosphere or filling for your chord sounds. If you use presets and they sound "midi cheesy" try running them though some guitar rigs or distortion or something to make them more your own. If you usually start with drums, try spending an hour making atmospheres, fx, and background elements, experiment. Its often hard to add experimental stuff in when you already have drums, chords, bass, vox chops etc. Its nice to get the more creative sounds in first. Well probably not incredibly amazing or new tips to anyone but hope someone gets inspired. Now let me hear your favourite packs /synth and tips. Creative or mixing. Cheers!
