One thing I am looking to achieve is taking percussion or other samples and incorporating it in a way that gives some subtle, but driving movement. I am listening to Forgotten by KRANE and graves. One thing that stuck out to me was the snares that come in around 0:34 seconds. What techniques could I use to give this feel?
It sounds like there are a few things going on, possibly the snares are pitched and panned?
