I've been making music on and off for about 3 years now. I still am not where I'd like to be. Some weeks I don't do much and other weeks I'll easily put 20+ hours into it or more.
Lately I just see a lot of unknown artists with really quality stuff and it makes me sad. I also see tons of other producers who are younger than me and who are on record labels and making top quality music.
How do you guys deal with knowing no one is really going to hear your music, or getting frustrated that you're not quite there yet with your productions?
I feel like I should be better after 3 years of going at it. It baffles me how good some of these guys are. I'm not expecting to get signed or ever have my music heard; I don't really care about that. I really just was hoping I would make some better stuff after this much time.
