Do y'all mind sharing your approach making tracks (like a step by step) and what kinds of feedback you're looking for when sharing previews of your tracks. To my knowledge, most producers either upload a preview of a new track to some kind of chat group asking their friends what's missing or they share via a private link to Soundcloud.
I'm in the process of building a fun app that would allow indie producers/musicians to upload a 30 second clip of their song online. Friends with the link can listen to the clips and leave comments at certain parts of the track. The goal of the project is to allow newish or indie producers to get rich forms of feedback to help them get better at production.
TLDR: Three questions: 1. How do you get feedback on your unfinished tracks from friends or fellow producers 2. What kind of feedback are you looking when sharing a preview and what kind of experience would you hope to get when sharing (a more public one that's anonymized perhaps or one with a closer nit set of people) 3. Would you like these clips to be public allowing anyone to listen to them
