I converted it into sheet music:
- Treble is Distortion guitar with some Pizzicato strings
- Bass is Synth bass
Bass is easy enough. I just treat them as whole notes. B-A-B-A-E-G...
The problem is when I get to the distortion guitar and try to sing.
If you play the bass note at the start of the bar. It does not sync with vocals. So you either have to... Play the note twice to sync with vocals. Or delay the note.
The later sounds cleaner. But very annoying to play. Instinct tells me to play a bass note at the start of the bar.
Are there other strategies to fix the desync? Can anyone give me tips on what I should be doing? I hope I explained myself clearly.
