Okay I'm fuckin stumped here. I sampled a boogaloo song for this Mexican beat I'm making for a friend. I used YouTube to MP3 converter which is fine because the song is old and washed out.
So I'm working away and I go to bounce it so I can listen to it in bed and whatnot. I upload to sound cloud and it sounds fine on my computer.
I open up SoundCloud on my phone and I can see right away the waveform doesn't look right. I listen and the song I sampled is completely distorted but my drums and bass (everything I've added) still sound fine...
I've emailed myself the beat as well figuring it was a SoundCloud issue and the same thing happens once I listen on my phone.
The part that confuses me is that it sounds/ looks fine on my computer, but it's like a completely different Audio file on my phone.
I've also tried re exported the sample at 44.1 and 48 kHz, as a wav, MP3, aiff .... no bueno
