Hey guys,
I have two questions.
First: What is better to get a smooth sound and not mess with automations (like, you drag a channel down in volume and it immediately resets when you play the song because of the existing automation): Volume automation or filter automation (low pass filter for example), or a mix of both?
Second: Is a song always in the same volume? I feel like a lot of songs you hear on Spotify always have the same volume, not only compared to each other but more within the song itself.
Like the song is already loud and dominant in the beginning and the particular instruments rather get more quiet instead of louder?
Did I get this right or is my theory wrong?
