My current process for chopping goes as follows:
Find a sustained vowel sound in the dry vocal and chop it Fade into and out of the sample Bounce the sample Insert into sampler (EXS24 in Logic) Send track to reverb, distortion bus Play notes
I keep getting that DJ Snake sound for these and it's not really what I'm going for.
