I have some old school PCI interfaces, and I'm putting together a Mac tower to run them (I prefer Logic Pro x as a daw)
I've mainly been looking at 2009 mac towers, and I wanted to know (in your guys' experience), what should I look for in cpu? There's traditional cpus but I've mainly been looking at the ones with dual quad core cpus. Will dual cpus be as good as one CPU with a faster clock speed?
As far as ram and stuff goes, I'll buy 32 gigs and install myself (I've built numerous windows desktops), and I'll replace the hard drive with a SSD). Any thoughts?
